Sven Davisson is editor of Ashé: Journal of Experimental Spirituality. He is an independent religious scholar. He received a degree in Critical Theory & Cultural Studies from Hampshire College, Amherst, MA and studied photography with Jerome Liebling and Carrie Mae Weems. In addition to Ashé Journal, his work has appeared in The New Aeon, Abrasax: Journal of Magick & Decadence, sneerzine, Lambda Book Report, Velvet Mafia and mektoub. His other books include The Machinery of Night and When Foley Craddock Tore Off My Grandfather’s Thumb.
